Camera Quark

Quark Filters can be adapted to fit on DSLR cameras. First developed for Astronaut, Don Pettit, and flown on the International Space Station in 2024, the Camera Quark was also used by NASA again for flying in and testing supersonic aircraft.   

Camera Quark filters allow Nikon and Canon camera owners access to Hydrogen Alpha views with or without a telescope. Camera Quark adapters can also be used with a Canon or Nikon Lens, but with a different CCD Camera.   

*Daystar always recommends a monochrome camera as the best imaging solution in Hydrogen Alpha. Color DSLR camera users should be aware of contrast limitations while using a color CCD.
